We are proud to offer this original, one-of-a-kind anime production cel from the Martian Successor Nadesico TV series, Episode 19: "You're the Next 'Captain' of the Nadesico," broadcasted in 1997. The character designs were done by Kia Asamiya of Studio Tron and Keiji Gotoh, directed by Tatsuo Satō, and produced by Production I.G. subsidiary XEBEC. The series was first broadcast on TV Tokyo between October 1, 1996, and March 24, 1997, lasting 26 episodes.Gorgeous close-up image of Yukari holding the microphone during the singing contest in this episode. A3 cel. Mr. Keiji Gotou worked on the character design and was the animation director for this particular episode. The ultimate shot of Yurika looking like an idol (echoing Minmay & Priss).
